Colour:
Golden straw.
Aroma:
Spiced apricots with notes of orange marmalade.
Palate:
Round and full with flavours of apricot and fig combine with a honey drizzle. The high residual sugar creates a luscious palate which is concentrated and elegant.
Ageing Potential:
This wine is drinking beautifully now but will continue to develop gracefully with further bottle age.
Viticulture:
Saint Clair Godfrey’s Creek Reserve Noble Gewürztraminer was sourced from a small parcel of selectively hand harvested botrytised Gewürztraminer grapes, grown on John and Lynne Walsh’s vineyard in the heart of the Marlborough Valley. The steady northwest wind flow through this unique area allows for noble rot to develop in ideal vintages.
