Vicar's Choice

Subtle fragrance of exotic spice, flower blossom and citrus oil.

Pale gold.


Fragrant evening blossom, Turkish Delight and Persian spice.


Elegant and luscious, with just a hint of sweetness, the palate delivers mandarin and lychee notes.

Ageing potential:

Drinking well now, this wine will continue to reward for the next three to five years.


The grape must was left to soak on skins for an extended period to assist with extraction of flavours. Post pressing, settled clear juice was fermented with yeast selected to enhance the varietal expression.


Grapes were sourced from a vineyard in Marlborough’s Wairau Valley. The vines are low cropping and immaculately tended to produce fruit with intense varietal characters. The grapes were harvested in the cool of the night at the peak of flavour development.

Wine Analysis:

Alcohol: 13% v/v, Titratable Acidity: 4.8 g/litre, Residual Sugar: 6.5 g/l, pH: 3.63.

Asian style pork.
