Aroma:

Turkish delight and lychee with hints of exotic aromatic spices.

Palate:

Off dry yet luscious with lychee, Turkish delight and cardamom.

Ageing potential:

Drinking well now, this wine will continue to reward for the next three to five years.

Winemaking:

The grape must was left to soak on skins for an extended period to assist with extraction of flavours. Post pressing settled clear juice was fermented with yeast selected to enhance the varietal expression.

Viticulture:

The grapes for this wine were sourced from a vineyard in Marlborough’s Dog Point area. The vines are low cropping and immaculately tended to produce fruit with intense varietal characters. The grapes were harvested in the cool of the night at the peak of flavour development.

Wine Analysis:

Alcohol: 13.00% v/v, Titratable Acidity: 4.40 g/litre, Residual Sugar: 5.50 g/L, pH: 3.71.

Food match:

A perfect aperitif , also an ideal accompaniment for spicy Asian cuisine.
