Flavours of passionfruit and blackcurrant leaf with a salty minerality

Passionfruit and blackcurrant leaf with a hint of salty sea air.


A rich palate with passionfruit, pink grapefruit, blackcurrant and a salty minerality. This wine is rich in flavour with a long lingering finish.

Ageing potential:

Perfect for drinking immediately, this wine will be at its best over the next two years.


Grapes were transported to the winery quickly and pressed off immediately to minimise skin contact. After cold settling the juice from each batch was fermented at cool temperatures using selected yeast strains. Each batch was assessed for quality and only the best components were selected for this premium blend.


Fruit was sourced from a selection of vineyards located in the Dillons Point and lower Wairau sub-regions. These are what Saint Clair regards as Marlborough’s best sub-regions, producing wines with heightened expression. Each vineyard block was harvested at optimum flavour maturity and physiological ripeness.

Wine Analysis:

Alcohol: 13% v/v, Titratable Acidity: 7.0 g/litre, Residual Sugar: 3.0 g/litre, pH: 3.35.

Food match:

A perfect accompaniment to freshly shucked oysters or a lemongrass and mango salad.
