Aromatic orange and rose petal aromas with a hint of ground ginger.


Lusciously voluptuous and textural with toasted orange peel and cocoa flavours.

Ageing potential:

Drinking well now, this wine will continue to evolve for the next three to five years.


The grapes were left to soak in the press for eight hours prior to pressing and cool fermentation in order to extract the varietal aromatics.


Fruit was harvested in the cool of the night from two of Saint Clair’s top vineyards for aromatic varieties, situated in the Wairau Valley.

Wine Analysis:

Alcohol: 13 % v/v, Titratable Acidity: 4.3 g/litre, Residual Sugar: 9.4 g/l, pH: 3.75.
