Saint Clair 2008 Vintage
A delicious Pinot Gris with ripe pear and apricot flavours and a touch of spice.
Aroma:This wine shows lifted notes of pear and apricot, supported by underlying breadcrust and marzipan with delicate floral notes.
Palate:A medium-bodied wine with a refreshing and full palate showing ripe pear and apricot, along with a touch of spice. Excellent balance with a long lingering finish.
Ageing potential:This wine is drinking well now and will cellar well for up to 18 months from vintage date.
Alcohol: 13% v/v, Titratable Acidity: 7.3g/litre, Residual Sugar: 4.0g/litre, pH: 3.34.
Food match:Enjoy with lightly spiced Asian curries or fresh summer salads with pan-fried scallops.
