Climate: The valley has a unique microclimate and is very warm with the number of degree growing days equivalent to if not higher than Blenheim in most years.
Vine Age: Six growing seasons.
Regional Characteristics & contribution to Uniqueness of Flavours: The limestone soils provide distinct Sauvignon Blanc flavours of chalk-like mineral intensity.

Colour:Pale straw with green hues.
Aroma:Powerful aromas of passion fruit and grapefruit and peach combined with an underlying mineral chalk and crushed herb note.
Palate:This wine has a crisp, elegant and refreshing palate with strong flavors of passionfruit and the cleansing acidity of grapefruit. The palate is intensely concentrated with a mouth-filling and well-balanced palate and a lingering finish.
Cellaring:This wine is drinking beautifully now and may also be enjoyed over the next one to two years.
Alcohol: 13.5% v/v, Titratable Acidity: 7.9g/litre, Residual Sugar: 2.95g/litre, pH: 3.49.
